Is recognized worldwide as the leading authority on marijuana. For the last 35 years he has worked as a cultivation expert, researcher, writer, teacher and activist. He is also the former Associate Editor for West Coast Cannabis Magazine and a founding project advisor for the Medical Cannabis Safety Council. His work in providing food-based medicines for nearly a decade revolutionized the industry of packaging and labeling of cannabis products.
Mickey Martin graduated with honors from St. Mary’s College of California in Business and has spent over ten years developing cannabis-based businesses in the community. He helped develop the founding principles and vision for the Medical Cannabis Safety Council through his call for self-regulation and responsibility in the cannabis industry. Mamakind
Mamakind (a/k/a Lisa Kirkman) was born in the University Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She attended the Universities of Lethbridge, Calgary and Poona (Pune, India) working toward a degree in Religious Studies. After the birth of her first child, Mamakind moved to British Columbia to pursue her love of cannabis and passion for writing and editing with Cannabis Culture magazine. Eapen Thampy
Eapen Thampy is the executive director of Americans for Forfeiture Reform, a non-profit organization working on issues of civil and criminal asset forfeiture in the United States. During his high school and college years, Eapen participated in competitive academic policy debate in the NDT and NDT/CEDA leagues as a competitor, coach, and consultant for Cross-x.com. Thampy has also worked in the restaurant and wine industries and spends his free time writing on a wide range of subjects, from law and economics to wine and drug policy reform.
